She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert G. Peters and Mary Strausser Peters; her former husband Charles Filer; and her husband Ralph Gates. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Filer (Paula) of Largo, FL and Richard Filer (Barbara) of Dallas, GA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and several other relatives.
