He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Hazel McKinnon Sims. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ursrey Sims of Blackshear; his daughters, Amanda Crews of Blackshear, Tiffany Sims of Blackshear, Hannah Sims of Savannah and Brittany Sims (Chris Rowland) of Alma; his grandchildren, Oakley, Raiden and Jude Crews; his pet Bake; and his siblings, Donna O'Berry of Blackshear, Mary Ammons (Donnie) of Blackshear, William Sims (Sheena) of Blackshear, Diane Strickland (Charlie) of Blackshear, Andy Sims (Sharon) of Blackshear, Dollie Ganey (Gary) of Blackshear and Wayne Sims of Blackshear. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
