He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Zadok and Clifford Walker Howard; his wife Dorothy Hall Howard; and his children, Dorinda Strickland, Curtis Howard and Linton Howard, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis Dixon (Robert) of Waycross; his brother Jack Howard of Waycross; his grandchildren, Raymond Howard (Kisha), Barbara Dixon, Walker Howard and Hunter Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Sarahbeth Howard, Abbygale Howard and Peyton Dixon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
