With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Faye Tyson of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Howard and Avie Dell Rozier Rowland; and her siblings, Harold Rowland, Annette Sellers, Howard Rowland and Juanell Starrett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Hayman (Johnny) of St. Augustine, Robin Dorsett of Blackshear and Niki Whitaker (Mark) of Winder; her grandchildren, Staci Cason Kelly (Dan) of St. Augustine, Markel Dorsett Smith (Jacob) of Brunswick, Kaili Dorsett Waters (David) of Jacksonville, Jena Hayman of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Hannah Cloud of Blackshear; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Shearer, Collin Kelly of St. Augustine, Jayden, Kylan Smith of Brunswick, Hadaley Waters of Jacksonville and William "Liam" Perry Barber IV of Blackshear. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
