He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Turner and Blanche Rosella Strickland Turner; his siblings, Lamar Turner and Patsy Sherrod; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Boatright.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana and Kevin Turner; his siblings, Deloris Boatright, Pearl Bailey of Blackshear and Carlton Turner (Jackie) of Blackshear; his sister-in-law Sylvia Turner of Blackshear; and his close friend David McCarthy of Blackshear. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
