It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine O'Steen Tuten of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Patterson, Georgia, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephraim Allen and Mattie Mizell Barnard Walker; and her siblings, Agnes, Mattie Bell, Margaret, Dolly, Earl and Junior.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy (John Hasty), Susan (Michael Yeoman) and Leonard O'Steen of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Brittany Hasty (Cassie Golden), Joshua Smith, Spencer Yeoman, Sydney Yeoman and Chad Meldrum; and her great grandchildren, Karma Rousseau, Teagan Meldrum and Ronan Meldrum. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
