He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spencer and Juanita Jewell Sapp Dixon; his brother Ray Dixon; and his sisters-in-law, Bertie Dixon and Carolyn Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Aldridge Dixon of Blackshear; his sons, Jeffrey (Missy Dixon) and Jason (Sonya Dixon); his siblings, Wanda Byrd (Jimmy) of Blackshear, Nancy McIntosh (John) of Blackshear, Karen Hayes (Keith) of Blackshear, Debbie Bailey (Brian) of Blackshear, Travis Dixon of Blackshear, Jerry Dixon (Burnice) of Blackshear, Ronnie Dixon (Anne) of Blackshear and Ted Dixon (Angie) of Waycross; and his grandchildren, Sariah Dixon and Jacob Dixon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
