It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Brooks of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Majorie Janice McDonald Brooks. He is survived by: his sister Lisa McMurphy (Tom Starling) of Blackshear; his niece Korey Falvo of Atlanta; and his close friends, Marilyn Waters of Blackshear and Steve Boatright of Blackshear. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
