With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmie Sue Steedley of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Alma, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmas Marion and Minta Medders Tyre, Sr.; her husband Curtis Neal Steedley, Sr.; her daughter Dinah Miles; her siblings, Ann Tyre Williams, Delmas M. Tyre, Jr. and Eddie Wendell "Winkie" Tyre; her grandsons, Walt and Whit Hollis; her niece Dana Williams; her sister-in-law Martha Jon Weatherly; and her friend Irene Dixon.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Jerry Hollis of Waycross; her son Curtis N. "Curt"; her children-in-law, Linda Steedley, Jr. of Blackshear and Monroe Miles of Blackshear; her siblings-in-law, Earl Williams of Alma, Van Steedley (Ruth) of Mershon and Joan Griffith of Gainesville, GA; her grandchildren, Amber Miles, Dr. Kyle Hollis (Hannah), Landon Miles (Marah), Dr. Neal Hollis (Megan), Victor Steedley, Sergey Steedley (Tiffany Boyette) and Yuri Steedley; and her great grandchildren, Watson Hollis, Bowen Steedley and Anna Hampton Hollis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, & other relatives.
