He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Vilos and Eldrie Altman Owens. He is survived by: his wife Doris Henry Owens of Blackshear; his children, Bryan Owens (Kristy) of Alma, Leslie Owens (Carolyn) of Patterson and Amy Dial (Charles, Jr.) of Homerville; his grandchildren, Sarah of Alma, Chloe Owens of Alma, Taylor of Patterson, Hunter Owens of Patterson and Madison Dial of Homerville; his siblings, Carolyn Durrence of Blackshear, Peggy Smith of Aiken, S. C., Sandra Strickland of Blackshear, Elaine Parshal of Blackshear, Genice Pace (Bill) of Greenville, S. C., Sarah Taylor (Robbie) of Offerman, Mary Vela of Blackshear, Marie Davis of Charlotte, N. C., Johnny Owens (Teresa) of Homeland, GA and Joseph Owens of Blackshear; his uncles, Maxie Owens (Jenny) of Blackshear and Waldo Batten of Blackshear; his aunt Linda Owens of Groveland, FL; and his close friend Bob Fleming of Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Due to Covid-19, the CDC guidelines will be followed with social distancing and the use of masks required for the service.
