She was predeceased by: her husband Mitchell L. Carter Jr.; her son Mark Carter; and her granddaughter Amanda Wilkinson Lowery. She is survived by: her children, Michael Carter (Audrey) and Darlene Carter Wilkinson (Randy); her daughter-in-law Rennie Carter; her sister-in-law Corena Dubberly; her grandsons, Justin Wilkinson (Julie), Shane Carter (Ashley), Marcus Carter and Dusty Lowery; and her great grandchildren, Jeb, Jay, Jessi Wilkinson, Rhett, Luke, Kate Lowery, Raelynn Carter and Nevaeh Carter.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her memory to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA 31501, (912) 285-2340.
