She was predeceased by: her friend Anne Dixon; her parents, Roy Powell and Christine Callan Powell; her husband Ashley Al Smith; and her children, Camilla Smith and Barry Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Young (Stevie) of Blackshear and Brian Smith (Shawn) of Blackshear; her daughter-in-law Carri Smith of Mershon; her siblings, Jean Stone (Al) of Thomasville, Dr. Roy Powell, Jr. (Kay) of Macon and Kenny Powell (Donna) of Douglas; her grandchildren, Callan Smith (Felipe Cruz), Parker Smith, Claire Naylor, Addison Smith, Jackson Smith and Justin Smith; and her great grandchildren, Camilla Cruz-Smith and Lazarus Cruz-Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
