She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershal Strickland and Mary Ruth Brown Arnold; her stepfather Clarence Arnold; her son Philip Herrin; and her sister Doris Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Lavone Herrin of Blackshear; her children, Elisabeth Carter (Brandon) of Bastrop, TX and Paul Herrin (Leah) of Blackshear; her siblings, Jane Welch of Homerville, Kathy Mathis of Ray City, Wesley Strickland, Jr. (Sandra) of Waycross and James "Jim" Strickland of Dupont; and her grandchildren, Brooke Herrin, Carly Herrin, Isabelle Carter and Wyatt Carter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
