He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Spivey and Otis Davis Spivey; his great grandchild Kyler Brown; and his siblings, Wanda Steedley, Alvin Spivey, Harvey Spivey, Carl "Buddy" Spivey and Ronnie Spivey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gill Spivey of Blackshear; his children, Sherry Dryden (Dale Stephens) of Blackshear, Stacey Jones (Jesse) of Blackshear, Michelle Kirby (Barry) of Cincinnati, OH, Jimmy Spivey (Pat) of Kenosha, WI, Bo Jewell (T. J.) of Patterson and Scott Jewell (Julieann) of Alma; and his sister Viretha Moore of Willacoochee, GA. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
