It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Lynn of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Battle and Marie Louise Paporwicz Lynn; and his brother Robert Bruce Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lee Trieschman Lynn of Blackshear; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Thomas (William James III) of Charlotte, N. C.; his grandchildren, Emily Lynn Thompson, William James Thompson IV and Jenna Elieen Thompson; his niece Robin Ruark (Todd); and his great-niece Hannah of Westminster, MD.
