He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oroy and Ophelia Vann Johnson; and his brothers, David Eli Johnson and Ray Johnson. He is survived by: his son Leon; his daughter-in-law Patty Johnson of Blackshear; his sister Sheena; and his brother-in-law William Sims of Blackshear. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
