He was predeceased by: his parents, Brinson Floyd and Myrtle Keener Floyd; his wife Linda Diane Taylor Floyd; and his brother William "Bill" Floyd. He is survived by: his daughter Hulene Hardenbrook (Tony) of Waycross; his grandsons, Al Jacobs (Jennifer) of Waycross and Daniel Jacobs of Jesup; his great grandchildren, Cory Jacobs and Ashlyn Jacobs; his siblings, L. M. Floyd of Thompson, GA and Shirley Moore of Waycross; and his sister-in-law Doris Lewis of Alma. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
