He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester and Alma Carrie Pierce Boyett, Sr.; and his siblings, Moreta Lee, Juanita Lee, Milford Boyett, Elder Winston Boyett, Elder Willis Boyett, Earl Boyett, T. J. Boyett and Sam Boyett.
He is survived by: his sisters, Genoa Lee of Alma and Geneva Bacon of Alma; his sister-in-law Carolyn Boyett of Blackshear; and his cousin Larry Boyett (Colleen) of Brunswick. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
