He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Mitchell and Becky Boatright; his son Kenny; his children-in-law, Sylvia Boatright and John Manzanares; his grandson Brent Scott; and his siblings, Vernell Galloway, Eva Mae Mccullough, Naomi Smith, Martha Boatright, Art Boatright, Junior "Mitch" Boatright and Floyd Boatright.
He is survived by: his wife Annamae Overman Boatright of Blackshear; his children, Becky Manzanares (Blackshear) of Colorado Springs, CO, Rick Boatright (Renee) of Alma, Jeff Boatright (Jan) of Blackshear, Andy Boatright (Nicole) of Baxley and Jerry Boatright (Lisa) of Blackshear; and his brothers, Glenn Boatright (Kitty) of Orange Park, FL, Quincey Boatright (Betty) of Callahan, FL and Garry Boatright of Callahan, FL. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; a great, great granddaughter on the way; and several nieces, nephews.
