She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Sallie Roberson Dixon; her husband Lawton Eugene "Gene" Mattox; and her siblings, Ilean Baxter, Winlen Walker, Darthell Dixon, Ronnie Dixon and Bronzal Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie L. Johnson of Crestview, FL and Andy Mattox (Krystal Kimbrell) of Blackshear; her siblings, Eula Dell Pearson of Blackshear and Edward "Shorty" Dixon (Bea) of Waycross; her sisters-in-law, Sylvia Dixon of Tifton, Martha Fowler (Larry) of Loganville and Mary Ann Stovall of Waycross; her grandchildren, Jaden Johnson, Saralyn Mattox, Elijah Mattox, Levi Mattox and Noah Jordan (Rebecca); and her great grandchildren, Mason Jordan and Maggie Jordan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
