With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Silvester Peterson Jr. of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Silvester Peterson, Sr.; and his brothers, James Albert Peterson and Billy Jack Peterson. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Fay Prevatt Peterson of Blackshear; his wife Lessie Marie Peterson of Blackshear; his son Zack Peterson (Lindsey McLeod) of Blackshear; his siblings, Christina Strom (Jason) of Brunswick and Matthew Peterson of Phoenix, AZ; and his aunt Wilma Hale of Blackshear.
