It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Smiley of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Fort Pierce, Florida, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chyler Smiley and Clarice Taylor Smiley; his wife Sherry Ann Cowart Smiley; and his sister Wanda Sutherland. He is survived by: his son Jason Smiley of Blackshear; his siblings, Wynelle Harjula of Blackshear and Lamar Smiley (Kathy) of Blackshear; and his granddaughter Kamryn Smiley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
