It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Spivey Youngblood of Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Roberson and Georgiann Leavens Spivey; her husband Dewy Youngblood; her siblings, Bob Spivey, C. R. Spivey, Johnny Edward, Bud Spivey, Irene Stevens and Rose Marie Barnes; her daughter Norma Elaine Hersey; her grandson Michael Starling; her son-in-law Mike Starling; her great grandchild Madyson Michelle Neil; her children, Brenda Starling of Blackshear and Robert Michael "Pete" Hersey of Blackshear; her stepson Darrell Youngblood (Harriet) of Millwood; and her nieces, Cynda Carver, Wendy Spikes and Trish Gillis. She was also cherished by 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
