He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Johnson and Savannah Miller Johnson of Georgia; his significant other Mollie Faye Hickox Johnson; his son-in-law Robert Rommel; and his siblings, Janet Dixon, Robert Johnson and James "Jim" Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Vickie Rommel of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Michael Altman, Kyle and Shawna Carter; and his great grandchildren, Daniel Flowers and Savannah Flowers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
