She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Grady Watkins and Minnie Estelle Young Brown; her husband Ralph Lane Bennett; and her siblings, Lois Grizzard and Jack Watkins.

She is survived by: her children, Roger Bennett (Sheila) of Medway, MA, Michael Bennett of Blackshear and Julie Bennett of Rincon; and her grandson Robert Bennett of Austin, TX. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Chapel (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the givers choosing.
