She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Hamilton and Ada Bell Copeland Combs; her husband Arthur Claude Boatright; her son Etheridge Boatright; her great great grandchild Aniya Jennell; and her siblings, Vesta Anderson, Hazel Thorne, Norman Combs, Spencer Combs and Kenneth Combs.
She is survived by: her daughter Claudette Durrance of Blackshear; her grandson Clayton Durrance (Melinda) of Alabama; her great grandchildren, Clay Durrance of Waycross, Dewayne Durrance of Patterson, Abbie Durrance, Layton Durrance, Ella Durrance and Destiny Durrance; her siblings-in-law, Ethel Mae Combs of Augusta, Vonnis, Stanley Boatright of Brunswick and Billy Boatright of Waycross; her great-nieces, Shelly Howard (Hendry) of Blackshear and Kelly Crawford (Will) of Blackshear; and also KellyAnn Howard of Blackshear. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blackshear Church of God (411 W Carter Ave, Blackshear, GA 31516).
