We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2021, at the age of 88, Dorothy O'Steen of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Baxley, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Horace and Carrie Branch Orvin; her husband Thomas Edward "Ed" O'Steen; and her siblings, Jeanette Bowman, Annette Osborne, Wynell Bush, Marilyn Trogdon, R. L. Orvin, D. C. Orvin and Mickey Orvin.
She is survived by: her son Glenn O'Steen (Marcy) of Evans, GA; her siblings, Carrie Lee Bryant of Tallahassee, Jackie Hayes of Hoboken, J. W. "Dub" Orvin (Patricia) of Baxley, H. B. Orvin (Janet) of Baxley and Danny Orvin (Brenda) of Baxley; her siblings-in-law, Billie Jean Orvin of Baxley, Barbara Orvin of Baxley, Bob Trogdon (Latrell) of Alma, Marcus O'Steen (Jan) of Alma and Don O'Steen (Claudia) of Bluffton, SC; and her grandchildren, Justin Crook, Mary Kate O'Steen, Abby Avelar and Eli O'Steen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines as well as the use of facemasks are strongly encouraged.
