With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Handel of Blackshear, Georgia, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kenneth and Marie Ann Sandillo Ostrom; her daughter Dawn Maria Handel; and her brother John Kenneth Ostrom, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Victor Handel of Blackshear; her children, Debra Lee Crowell of Blackshear, Donna Maria Grande (Mark) of Northford, CT, Gerald Edward Handel, Jr. of New Haven, CT and Darcy Handel of Blackshear; her grandchildren, William Crowell, Jr., Sarah Crowell, Mark James Grande, Jr., Deanna Marie Grande, Rebecca Wasdin and Elizabeth Wasdin; and her sister Bernadette Hart of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
