She was predeceased by: her parents, Shular Cox and Ellie Hendley Cox; her husband James Shade Luke; and her siblings, Jeannette Aspinwall and Shannon Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Carter of North Carolina and Berry Gulley (Michelle) of Blair, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Justin, Gina (Kelly), Asa, Mercedes, Jacquelyn, Taylor and Brandi; her siblings, Elaine Branch (Jimmy) of Brunswick, Sally Joe Cox of Brunswick and Shular Cox (Kathy) of Brunswick; and her cousins, Denise and Greg Miller of Darien. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
