He is survived by: his children, Kathy Sapp of Patterson and Little Dexter Sapp (Leann Sauls) of Blackshear; his stepdaughter Ambi Bess (Wally) of Waycross; his siblings, Wanda Rigdon (Shelton) of Bristol, Carol Watkins (Donnie) of Mershon, Bonnie Thornton (Bud) of Patterson, Anita Teston of Patterson, May Douberly (Ray) of Patterson, JoAnna White (Timmy) of Patterson, Larry Sapp of Patterson, Bobby Sapp (Margaret) of Richmond Hill and W. T. Sapp (Susan) of Blackshear; and his grandchildren, Katy Rose Contreras, Lucas Sapp, Jorah Maddex Sapp, Amiyah Bess and Rylan Bess. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
