It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Smart of Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Euguene Smart and Lissie Marshall Smart; his son Kenneth Smart; and his brothers, Clayton Smart and Robert Smart.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Smart of Blackshear; his children, Lynn Reisinger (Ben) of Pennsylvania, Nanette Vinson (Toby) of North Carolina, Tonya Volk (Kris) of Virginia, Dwayne Henderson of Florida, Ricky Henderson of Georgia and Jeff Smart of North Carolina; his siblings, Clinton Smart, Josephine Smart and Mary Smart; and his close friends, James and Rita Tyson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
