He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Corbitt and Minnie Bennett Corbitt; his wife Ruby Viola Sweat Corbitt; his sons, David Corbitt and Danny Corbitt; his grandson Roy Ernest Bowers, Jr.; and his siblings, Floyd Corbitt, Jimmy Corbitt, Red Corbitt, Bessie Harris, Ruth Corbitt and Macie Corbitt.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Corbitt (Shirlene) of Waycross, Janice Lovell of Blackshear and Elizabeth Lowe of Blackshear; and his grandchildren, Alene Smith (Frank) of Waycross, Arnold Driggers of Waycross, Angel Douglas (Tim) of Brantley County, Robert Driggers (Rebecca) of Waycross, April Pickens (David) of Blackshear, David Bowers (Brittany) of Blackshear, Clark Lowe (Becky) of Blackshear and Cale Lowe (Kelly) of Blackshear. He is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
