He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bryan Blount, Sr. and Mae Couch Blount; his wife Athleen McSwain Blount; his son Charles Bryan "Chuck" Blount, III; and his brothers, J. T. Blount, Horace Blount and Leon Blount.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Tyre (Glennis) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Melissa Smith of Blackshear, Kristi Bennett (Dan) of Blackshear, Bryan Blount (Amanda) of Charlotte and Tonya Tuggle (Jerry) of Magnolia, Texas; his great grandchildren, Stetson Smith (Molly), Spencer Smith, Daniel Bennett, Matthew Bennett, Luke Bennett, Will Blount, Josh Blount, Maris Blount, Davis Blount, Taylor Rawley and Parker Rawley (Rhianne); his daughter-in-law Lynda Blount of Houston, Texas; his brother Judge Clarence Blount of Waycross; and his sister-in-law Doris Blount of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
