Carolyn Aldridge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Aldridge of Blackshear, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Oglesby and Geneva Calhoun Oglesby; her husband Rufus Earl Aldridge; and her siblings, Nancy Oglesby, Preston Oglesby and Joseph "Joe" Oglesby.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Cunningham (Jamey) of Blackshear, Bo Aldridge (Kathy) of Blackshear, Debra Gordon (Bubba) of Blackshear, Belinda Moore (Matt) of Waycross and Brad Aldridge (Lynn) of Blackshear; and her grandchildren, Ricky Cunningham (Chelby), Cassy Cunningham, Kalen Barber (David), Katherine Denison (Mark), Ginny Lairsey (Austin), Bradley Sirmons, Megan Sirmons, Madison Gordon, Lindsy Moore, Leve Moore, Caleb Altman, Sydney Quinn, Jordan Aldridge (Tara), Aiden Aldridge and Riley Aldridge (Rhiannon). She is also survived by several great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
