It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Conner Jones of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Folkston, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Troy and Alma McNeil Conner; her husband James Carl Jones, Jr.; and her brother John Stewart Conner. She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Jones (Laurie) of Waycross, Patrick Jones (Kara) of Blackshear and Roger Jones of Statesboro; her grandchildren, Mindy Lee, Brandon Jones (Audrey), Jade Clark (Carson), Jenna Jones, Ashley Crews (Eric), Amber Jones and Ansley Jones; her great grandchildren, Llewyn Jones, Violet Jones, Ryker Lee, Slade Lee, Logan Milner, Chloe Crews, Isabella Crews, Liam Crews, John Wyatt Crews, Cole Roppe, Caroline Sims, Grey Webb and Alexander Dewitt; and her siblings, Kay Barber (Larry) of Manor, Sherri Moore of Atlanta, Joe Conner (Bonnie) of Crescent Beach, FL and Preston Conner (Joy) of Sardis, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
