He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilcox and Fannie Mae Hand Wilcox; his wife Marie Wilcox; and his siblings, Wanell Wilcox, Agnes Kersey, Fred Wilcox, Homer Wilcox, Walter Wilcox and Carlos Wilcox.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy McCumbers of Blackshear, Cindy Black (Earl) of Blackshear, Angie Strickland (James Hunt) of Blackshear, Helen Sirmons (Kevin) of Blackshear, Kendall Wilcox of Hazlehurst, Ronnie Whitley (Patsy) of Hazlehurst, Bryan Whitley (Sharon) of Blackshear and Bruce Whitley (April) of Blackshear. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
