He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Dixon and Mozell Carter Dixon; his granddaughter Lee Padgett; and his siblings, Juliene Tyre, Donnie Dixon and Ronnie Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Lee Dixon of Blackshear; his children, Donna Masterson (Paul) of Metter, DeAnna Dixon of Blackshear, Dawn Dixon of Texas and Benji Dixon (Dixie) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Amanda McLaurin (Gary) of Virginia Beach, VA, Elizabeth Jackson (Robert) of Virginia Beach, VA, Rachel Padgett of Blackshear, Jacob Parshall of Colorado, Shelby Dixon of Jacksonville, FL, BreAnna Moore (Jay) of Waycross and Thomas Rawlins of Texas; his children, MaryAnn Westberry of Blackshear, Jake Westberry of Blackshear and Abigail Westberry of Blackshear; his great grandchildren, Ty Taylor, Aliyah McGauley, Mara Ketchman, Lucas McLaurin, Zeplin Dixon, EverLeigh Moore, Jett Moore, Crystal Jackson and Rob Jackson; and his sisters, Diane Mosley of Blackshear, Connie Davis of Waycross and Winifred King of Blackshear. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
