We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2021, at the age of 72, Benjamin Carter Jr. of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Waycross, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Ben" Hill and Mildred "Millie" Ester Wood Carter, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Haywood Carter of Blackshear; his children, Craig Carter (Eugenia) of Alpharetta and Kim Carter of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Joshua Carter (Sarah), Bethany Carter Graham (Connor), Caleb Carter (Jessie), Jared Kilpatrick and Karlee Boatright; and his friend Johnny Rhodenberry. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines as well as the use of facemasks are strongly encouraged.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Souteast Cancer Unit, P.O. Box 667, Blackshear, GA 31516.
