He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Gaulden and Myrtice Fulton Eason; his wife Paulette Evelyn Larsen Eason; his son Wayne Eason; and his siblings, Clara Tillman, Annie Lou Westberry, Ruby Morris, Earlene Westberry, Lee, Joe, Clayton and Jake Eason.
He is survived by: his sons, Gerome Eason of Blackshear, Ricky Eason of Odum, Brennan Eason of Jesup and Shannon David Strickland (Jana) of Bristol; his daughter-in-law Cyndi Eason of Odum; his siblings, Linda Lane of Jesup, Birdie Woods of Jesup, Helen Robbins of Ellijay, Carolyn Norman of Blackshear, Cathy Bryant of Jacksonville, Avery Eason (Linda) of Grovetown and Abe "Sam" Eason (Kim) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Tyler Watkins, Gerniee Saylor (Zach), Quetin Eason, Jacob Eason, Romey Eason, Frankie Eason, Bayne Eason, Landon Eason and Sasha Eason; and his great grandchildren, Eli Watkins, Anna Jade Watkins, Braydon Sweat, Bailey Bryant, Baylen Eason, Gatlen Saylor and Grayson Saylor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
