He was predeceased by: his former wife Norma Jean Henderson; his parents, Alton Harold Henderson and Darcil James Henderson Davis; and his brothers-in-law, Brue Chandler and Tommy Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Boatright Henderson of Blackshear; his children, Paige (Michael King), Misty (Stan Harris), Lin (Merry Gayle Boatright) and Lee (Tara Boatright); his sister Susan Chandler of Atlanta; his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Thornton of Blackshear and Cindi Sattler (Jim) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Taylor Aldridge (Matthew), Bennett King (Taylor Dollar), Braxton Harris, Grayson Harris, Natalee Boatright, Laura Kate Dixon (Blake), Davis Callahan (Mac) and Anna Lisa Sturdivant (Chandler); and his great grandchildren, Kase Aldridge, Brooks Aldridge, Rylin Dixon, Ridge Dixon, Ellie Blake Dixon, Charlotte Sturdivant and Mary Mac Callahan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rehobeth Baptist Church (1296 Cason Rd, Blackshear, GA 31516). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
