She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Nathaniel and Hattie Altman Batten; her husband Eugene Edward Howell; her son James Edward Howell; and her siblings, Goldie, Ada Mabel, Martha Irene, Ruby, Bashie Eloise, Joseph Macon, James Loid, Lewis Alvin, Bernard and Vernon.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Annette Howell of Blackshear, Darlene Howell (Dana McDuffie Dial) of Blackshear, Amy Howell Dixon of Blackshear and Larry Howell (Amelia) of Waycross; her daughter-in-law Nancy Mock (Danny) of Waycross; her grandchildren, Sirena H. Cady (Trent), Trent Howell Long (Jimmie Nell), Anthony Howell (Nikki), Kisha Williams (Bradford), Larry Howell, Jr., Dusty Howell, Terry Marchman, Michael Loredo and Tracey Stone; her great grandchildren, Lexie Howell, Tessa Howell, Tug Williams, Tabitha Cady Barnard (Rocky), Madison Long Sarro (Caleb), Braxton Long, Ryder Long and Sydney Stone; her great great grandchild Peytan Addison Barnard; and her close friend Tori Smith of Blackshear. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
