It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Addison Strickland of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Addison Lewis "Eddie" Strickland. He is survived by: his daughters, Jincy Lee Strickland (Blackshear) of Statesboro and Ava Strickland of Blackshear; his mother Joy Davis Strickland O'Gorman of Blackshear; his sister Starr Strickland Dial (Jonathan); his nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Harrison, Dawson and Scott; his grandparents, Jacob and Jenny Davis (Janell) of Blackshear; his aunts and uncles, Jay (Janice Davis), Jerry (Terresa Davis), June Davis, Jim (Jane Callahan), Larry Strickland, Sherion Mercer, Bobby (Teresa Strickland), Dan (Patty McIntosh), Bud (Mary Alice Shelton) and Tony (Cindy Strickland); his close friend Dick Larson of Blackshear; his former wife Nobalee Strickland of Blackshear; and also Jeffrey Bolden (Toni Chelle) of Blackshear.
