It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waymon Lee Ash of Bishop, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Ash and Hazel Juanita Elder Ash. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Page Ash; his children, Mike Ash (Angie) and Amanda Minshew (Whit); his sisters, Linda Haygood (Randy), Gloria Faulkner (Tony) and Beverly Shivar (David); his grandchildren, Jacob Ash (Emily), Samuel Ash (Esther), Anna Ash, Kate Ash, Elsie Minshew and Henry Minshew; and his great grandchild Jesse Ash.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wally's memory to the Prince Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 2131 Ruth Jackson Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
