She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Akridge and Sarah Taylor Akridge; and her brother-in-law Ray Coursey. She is survived by: her sister Charlotte Coursey; her nephew Justin Jones (Amy); her niece Catie McWhirter (Philip); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sophie, Zach McWhirter, Langston and Eliza Jones; her aunt Voncile Franklin (Ted); and her uncle David Taylor (Paula).
