He is survived by: his children, Lisa Holland Dawson (Mark) of Watkinsville and Christy Holland Collins (James) of Cochran; his granddaughters, Millie Collins Snodgrass (JP) of Sandy Springs and Maggie Collins Eggebrecht (Evan) of Billings, MT; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Carter Pritchett (Bishop), Harry McDonald and Johnny Pritchett (Bishop). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (151 E Dykes St, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (3655 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606).
