He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ethridge Meeler and Lottie Ardell Kidd; and his sister Delories Ruark. He is survived by: his significant other Jeanne Pittman; and his children, Starr Meeler (Amy) and Donna Medlock. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
