He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Mason; his daughter Laurel McDaniel; his parents, John Robert McDaniel and Estelle McDaniel Pennington; his stepfather William Pennington; and his sister-in-law Virginia McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Moore (Eddy) and Travis McDaniel, Jr. (Teresa); his grandchildren, Dane Moore (Courtney), Kyle Moore (Mary), Bethany McDaniel and Cole McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Collins, Hartley, Brooks, Emmett, Hudson, Wren, Morgan and Peter; and his siblings, Bob McDaniel (Carol), Latrelle Allen (Doug) and Sandra Sharpe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Smyrna (2950 King St SE, Smyrna, GA 30080). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Children's Home, 1430 Lost Mountain Rd. Powder Springs, GA 30127 in memory of Travis.
