She was predeceased by: her siblings, Adrian, Charles, Darrell Thompson and Annette Thompson McWater; and her grandparents, Shaw Thompson, Eva Thompson, Boner Rutledge and Gertrude Rutledge.

She is survived by: her daughter Walter Sorrow; her grandchildren, Stacie Hardesty (Rob Windsor) and Kimberly Marx (Greg); her great grandchild Wyatt Hardesty; her sister Melania Marx; her brother-in-law Rita Thompson Scheidt (Doug); and her niece Melvin Sorrow (Eickie).
