She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Claude Winterscheid and Isal Winterscheid; her husband Dr. Verne Newhouse of Big Canoe; her daughter Claudia; her son-in-law Jim Moore of North Bend, Oregon; her son Mike; her daughter-in-law Kim Newhouse of Brunswick, Georgia; her son Dan; her daughter-in-law Lisa Newhouse of Jefferson, Georgia; her son Bruce; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Newhouse of Stone Mountain, Georgia; her children, Lauri Gray and David Newhouse of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her former husband Steven Herman; and her brother Dr. Loren Winterscheid. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Susan G Kohmen for the Cure or Georgia Mountains Hospice in Jasper, Georgia.
