He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Garratt of Worcester, MA.; his sons, Peter Dean of Broomfield, CO and Jeffrey Dean of Jefferson, GA.; and his grandchildren, Mason Dean of Los Angeles and Hayden Dean of Atlanta.
Since John was always involved with various animals, in lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to any animal rescue organization.
